Place a medium skillet on the stovetop and set the heat to medium-high. Pour in the olive oil and let it heat up.
Add the bacon to the hot oil in the skillet. Cook the bacon, stirring occasionally, until it turns brown, which should take about 3 - 4 minutes.
Add the onions to the skillet with the cooked bacon. Stir them around and cook until they become transparent, which will take about 2 minutes.
